According to a report by “La Gazzetta dello Sport,” one name that would have taken prominence in the attack would be that of Manolo Gabbiadini, one of the best players of Samporia’s negative season that culminated with last place in the league and relegation to Serie B.

The player, however, would be discussing renewal with the Blucerchiato club, but the possibility of playing in Serie A and reuniting with his old coach Claudio Ranieri could convince him to espouse the Sardinian cause.
