Spain-Italy, the probable formations

Tonight at 8:45 p.m., at the De Grolsch Veste stadium in the Dutch city of Enschede, Spain-Italy, the second semifinal of the Nations League, will be played. The winner will face Croatia, who yesterday beat the hosts Netherlands 4-2 after extra time in Rotterdam.

The centerpiece of De la Fuente’s Red Furies’ midfield will hinge on Rodri, Manchester City’s match winner in the Champions League final against Inter Milan. The offensive trio Asensio, Gavi and Fati will support the lone forward Morata.

In Mancini’s Italy side, Toloi is expected to replace Bastoni, while Di Lorenzo and Spinazzola will be on the flanks. Jorginho will play the midfield director, forward, on the other hand, a twist is likely: Immobile is favored at the front, but, and here is the surprise, he will have only Zaniolo at his side, in turn favored over Chiesa, while Raspadori should start from the bench.

Spain-Italy likely lineups.

SPAIN (4-2-3-1): Arrizabalaga; Carvajal, Le Normand, Nacho, Alba; Rodri, Merino; Asensio, Gavi, Fati; Morata.

ITALY (3-5-2): Donnarumma; Toloi, Bonucci, Acerbi; Di Lorenzo, Barella, Jorginho, Verratti, Spinazzola; Zaniolo, Immobile.
