Valentino Rossi, former coach Cadalora pays tribute to Pecco Bagnaia
Luca Cadalora praises Pecco Bagnaia with a big investiture
After Pecco Bagnaia’s extraordinary success at Mugello, Valentino Rossi’s former coach Luca Cadalora spoke bluntly about the Ducati rider’s convincing first part of the season. In addition, to pay further homage to the Piedmontese centaur, he compared his performance to that of Mick Doohan, a five-time World Champion and the fourth winningest rider in MotoGp history.
“After a race like Mugello, it’s hard not to compare Pecco to what Mick Doohan accomplished. Both were able to rely on a bike-rider package that seemed superior to everyone else. I am happy for Bagnaia, he really deserves what he has achieved and I am sure he will achieve more success in the future,” the former rider began.
“He showed that he is a strong guy who never gave up despite the difficulties. He has worked his way up through the ranks and struggled to get everything he has now,” added Luca Cadalora.
