Wimbledon, Rick Macci confident: “Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner will be the favorites.”

Serena Williams’ former coach Rick Macci does not believe that Novak Djokovic is the sole favorite at Wimbledon. In fact, the American coach also named Jannik Sinner among the suspects to win the Championships.

“Buckle up for Wimbledon. It will be Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic who will be the favorites for the tournament. Sinner is very good on grass, moves correctly on this surface and has stepped on grass every day since the French Open,” reads a tweet posted by Macci.

Meanwhile, Jannik Sinner is busy in the ATP 250 tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, where he beat Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik in two sets (6-4 6-2) in the first round and now awaits Emil Ruusuvuori in the quarterfinals.
