F1, free practice Gp Canada: Hamilton fastest in the rain, Leclerc ahead of Verstappen

Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver in the second free practice session at the Montreal track, where the Canadian Grand Prix will be run on Sunday. The Mercedes driver set a time of 1:13.718, ahead of teammate George Russell.

In a session affected by bad weather, Ferraris got the third fastest time with Carlos Sainz and the fifth with Charles Leclerc. Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) was fourth, while world champion Max Verstappen was sixth but again showed impressive race pace.
