Fiorentina, Sofyan Amrabat one step away from signing with another club
In the press conference on the eve of the match against South Africa valid for the next African Cup of Nations qualifiers, Morocco’s technical commissioner Regragui announced Amrabat’s farewell to Fiorentina.
“Sofyan will not play, I decided to let him go: he has played so many games this year and I don’t want to risk him, also because he will soon sign with a new club.” That could be Barcelona, already on his trail in January.
Sofyan Amrabat, a midfielder who will be 27 years old next August 27, arrived in Serie A at Verona in 2019, coming from Bruges, but the following year he moved to Fiorentina, with whom he totaled between all competitions 101 appearances and 1 goal.
