Alberto Aquilani chosen as Pisa coach
It will be Alberto Aquilani to coach Pisa in the 2023/24 season. This was reported by ‘Sky Sport,’ according to which Giovanni Corrado, chief executive officer and general manager of the Nerazzurri Tuscans, accelerated the pace to find the agreement in the days immediately following the final of the Primavera Championship, which saw the 1984-born coach engaged on the bench of Fiorentina’s youth team.
With Fiorentina Primavera, Aquilani has won the category Italian Cup three times (2020, 2021 and 2022) and the Super Cup twice (2021, 2022), coming close to the category Scudetto this season (final lost to Lecce).
