German Moto2 GP: Pedro Acosta wins ahead of Tony Arbolino
In the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring circuit, fourteenth career victory, eighth in Moto2 and fourth of the season for Pedro Acosta, on the Kalex of the Red Bull KTM Ajo team.
The 19-year-old Spaniard was just under three seconds ahead of the world leader, 23-year-old Tony Arbolino on the Kalex of the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team, third place was the prerogative of Jake Dixon, also on a Kalex but of the Polar Cube GASGAS Aspar Team, beaten by the wire by Arbolino, fourth was Thailand’s Somkiat Chantra on the Kalex of the IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia.
The top three are the same ones, in the same order, who set the three best times in yesterday’s Q2, while in the world championship standings Arbolino, on his second consecutive place of honor behind Acosta after Mugello, still sees his lead over the Spaniard shrink, to 15 points.
