Spain wins the 2022-2023 Nations League. The Red Furies beat Croatia 5-4 after penalty kicks and won the third edition of the Nations League, succeeding Portugal (winner in the 2018-2019 edition) and France (which had won in the 2020-2021 edition).

After 120 white-net minutes with much balance, it was penalty kicks that decided the outcome of the final: the real protagonist was Unai Simon, author of two beautiful saves on Petkovic and Majer’s penalties. Carvajal converted the decisive penalty that allowed the Iberian national team to win the title.

In the final for third place, Italy had won over the Netherlands 3-2 thanks to goals by Dimarco, Frattesi and Chiesa.
