Ducati VR46 rider Luca Marini commented soddidfatto his fifth place in the German Grand Prix, just behind teammate Marco Bezzeccchi: “A positive weekend, apart from today all weekend well: qualifying, sprint race. You have to continue like this, be there ready.”

“I was a little bit in trouble today in the race and it showed, some of the problems I had yesterday I hoped to solve with the media on the rear but it was not enough. This morning in the warm up we tried something because during the weekend because of the rain there was never time to try anything. I was slow though and things didn’t go well in the warmup so we went back. In the race I suffered but brought home the best possible result.”

Now there is Assen: “A very different track from Sachsenring and we will definitely start with a slightly different bike on Friday hoping for good weather that will allow us to settle in better.”
