Dutch trip for Ferdinando De Giorgi’s Italy for week 2 of Volleyball Nations League after this days’ mini collegiate at Centro Pavesi.

Four athletes will be confirmed compared to the week 1 played in Canada: Rinaldi, Federici, Gironi and Romanò while for the other ten summoned it will be the season debut in the VNL. Therefore, many of the protagonists of the 2022 World Cup ride, to whom De Giorgi gave a few more weeks of rest followed by the work done in Cavalese, return to the field.

After the two victories with Cuba and Germany in Canada, the race to the Final8 in Gdansk gets into full swing, with the Azzurri currently in ninth position in the VNL standings. Opponents in the second leg, scheduled at Rotterdam Ahoy, will be Iran, China, Poland and Serbia.
