Charles De Ketelaere will stay at AC Milan because “the club believes in him 100 percent.” This is what Tom De Mul, agent of the young Rossoneri player, who has just returned from a season with more lows than highs, told Belgian media on the eve of the first match of Belgium’s Under-21 selection at the European Championships.

“Paolo Maldini was a great supporter of Charles,” De Mul said, “but Moncada, who will take his place, is the decisive chief scout for his transfer to AC Milan. Charles, for his part, knows he can give more than he has shown this season, but he also knows he has the qualities to redeem himself and emerge.”

De Mul then did not comment on the rumors about a possible landing at AC Milan of Guler specifically to replace De Ketelaere: “I trust in his second season at Milan, I hope he does well.
