MotoGp, VR46: Luca Marini promises battle

Luca Marini toward Assen: “We’re going to have a lot of fun.”

Luca Marini spoke to the official channels of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, showing great enthusiasm towards the weekend that will culminate with the Grand Prix of the Netherlands of the MotoGp class, at the Assen circuit.

“I’m happy that there is another race right away,” said Valentino Rossi’s brother. “Racing so many Grand Prix one after another is something I enjoy. This year will be a little different than in the past, there are so many fast riders who can win. Maybe it will be a close race in the peloton, unlike what happened at Sachsenring. We will have a lot of fun, I am looking forward to it.”

Marini is back from an all positive weekend in Germany: in fact, he finished in the top-5 in both the Sprint Race (4th) and Sunday’s race (5th). He is currently sixth in the overall standings, with 89 points to his credit.
