Series C, it’s registration day: 59 out of 60 clubs apply
Pordenone Calcio did not apply for registration
Having closed the 2022/23 season on Sunday, with the playoff final won by Lecco over Foggia, the Lega Pro is already looking ahead to the next sporting year, with the Board of Governors meeting held on Wednesday analyzing, from a purely numerical point of view, the applications for the 2023/24 championship. Of the 60 potentially eligible clubs, only Pordenone did not apply.
“The Council,” reads the note released by the Lega Pro at the end of the ruinione, “found that the application for admission to the Lega Pro for the 2023/24 season was submitted by 59 clubs. Therefore, the Council has viewed and certified the documentation filed, in order to make the necessary communications to the competent federal bodies, which will have to assess the presence of the requirements provided by the National Licensing System. Only Pordenone Calcio did not submit an application.”
