Ducati, Enea Bastianini does not lose confidence
The words of Enea Bastianini
Complicated Friday for Enea Bastianini, who finished with the 15th time on the first day of free practice for the Dutch Grand Prix, in Assen.
“It was a complicated day – he admitted at the end of the free practice -: this morning there was not much grip and as soon as we mounted the medium tire in front I fell and that definitely slowed us down a lot. In the afternoon I struggled: we made a small step forward, but it was not what we expected. The track is quite physical and the strong wind today didn’t help me, but I’m convinced it will be better tomorrow. You have to be very precise here in Assen because making a mistake in one corner then affects the rest of the circuit.”
“So the goal will be to be able to reach the level we still lack. It won’t be easy because we won’t have much time, but I will try to study the data carefully. It would be nice to be able to qualify well in order to have a good race,” Bastianini concluded.
