Luca Marini happy but with a doubt
Luca Marini’s words after the Assen qualifying session
Luca Marini signed the third best time in qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix, in Assen.
The centaur of the Mooney VR 46 Racing Tem spoke thus to the microphones of Sky Sport, at the end of qualifying: “I am happy. I put in a very good first lap in which, however, the bike closed to me at the front almost everywhere. In the second attempt I tried to force further, but I slipped, as is normal, also because I am not 100 percent with my bike.”
The Pesaro rider still carries a doubt related to the tires: “I am slower than the best, but now I will have time to analyze the free practice data and decide which tires to run with. I feel good with the hard on the front, but not at the maximum possibility of the bike. Looking ahead to the Sprint Race I think I will only have to change a few small details, then we will see about what to do for tomorrow’s race. I will definitely use soft on the rear today, while tomorrow I will use medium, which changes the way of riding in a big way. It will be crucial to get a good start, then we’ll see.”
