MotoGp, Assen Sprint Race: Bezzecchi beats Bagnaia, scoreless Marc Marquez

Marco Bezzecchi shines again in the Netherlands: the VR46 team centaur won the MotoGp Sprint race in Assen ahead of the other Ducati of reigning world champion Pecco Bagnaia.

After a flawed start, Bezzecchi remounted, overtaking Bagnaia on lap four and then pulling away. Third place for a reborn Fabio Quartararo, who returned to the podium despite a broken toe. The French centaur took advantage of Binder’s penalty, slipping to fifth behind Aleix Espargaro and ahead of Jorge Martin.

Aprilia rider Vinales finished seventh, then Enea Bastianini, Alex Marquez and Luca Marini. Disconsolately out of the 10 and without points Marc Marquez, who started only from 17th place failed to make a comeback and remained in the rear.
