If Hellas Verona has achieved a salvation that at one point in the season was a mirage, it also owes it to Isak Hien, who has given solidity to the back section of Marco Zaffaroni’s team.

As expected on the aptly-named central defender born in 1999 the eyes of numerous clubs, not only Italian, have rested. The winner seems to have been Atalanta, whose offer of 10 million euros was deemed congruous by the Scaliger club: the Swede is happy with his new destination, there is only a few details to be ironed out.

Hien, born in Stockholm to parents of Ghanaian and Burkina Faso origin, wore the colors of Vasalund and Djurgarden before coming to Italy. He is on the Gialloblù national team roster.

Starting next July 1, it will be possible to deposit contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
