Alessio Da Cruz returns to Italy

Alessio Da Cruz is returning to Italy: the Cape Verdean-born, Netherlands-based striker has in fact signed a contract with newly promoted Feralpisalò in Serie B.

A two-year contract for the 1997-born athlete, who in Italy has already played with the shirts of Parma, Spezia, Ascoli and Vicenza between 2018 and 2022. Last season he was in Belgium, at KV Mechelen, winning salvation in the Pro League with the yellow and red jersey with vertical stripes.

“I am very happy to start this new adventure,” Da Cruz told the club’s official channels on Wednesday. “It will be a difficult season but we will give our best to achieve the team goal. I am happy to be able to return to play in an Italian league. I am ready and I will give my best.”
