Italy Under 21, Paolo Nicolato does not give his opinion on the future

The Azzurrini’s path has been unsuccessful

After only three matches, Italy has been eliminated from the European Under-21 Championship. The match lost to Norway was decisive, at the end of a match in which the Azzurrini were not up to the task. A defeat that was fatal for Italy Under 21, resoundingly already out, when the goals at the beginning of the tournament were quite different.

Nicolato, Italy Under 21 coach, however, wanted to highlight the commitment of his boys: “This is a short tournament, episodes counted, but the performance was not three points. The players who arrived from the senior national team did well, they are all good players, as well as those of the other teams,” his words to Rai.

Most likely, with the elimination at the group stage of the European Championship, Nicolato’s adventure on the bench of the Azzurrini ends: “We will talk about these things at the appropriate time,” the comment of the coach himself.
