Ducati-Marc Marquez, Domenicali has no more doubts
Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali in an interview with Corriere della Sera spoke about a possible future for Marc Marquez on the Borgo Panigale Desmosedici.
“It would be very complex and difficult, in any situation. At the first race of the year Marquez was on pole after a complicated winter. Then with certain behaviors he went too far to the limit, however, compared to his brandmates he was making a difference.”
“At Sachsenring, on a friendly track, he had high expectations,” Domenicali continued. “Instead, he had to handle an unexpected situation, he crashed five times. He had a breakdown, he has to be understood and respected. I hope to find him again soon as an opponent.”
On concessions to Japanese bikes: “We are in favor of a spectacular World Championship that generates interest, the important thing is to do it with balance, otherwise it would be too easy. In some way it is also a recognition of the extraordinary work of Ducati.”
