Reggina responded to the Covisoc communication with an official statement.
Reggina out of Serie B, but the club reacts. “We now receive the communication of the Covisoc regarding the rejection of Reggina’s registration to the Serie B championship,” the amaranth club says in a note on its official website, “and we consider it inconsistent with what was clearly ordered by the court of Reggio Calabria.
“We will present our appeal in the appropriate venues certain that, also this time, we will be able to demonstrate the correctness of our actions,” Reggina added in its statement.
Last June 21, news had arrived of the resignation of President Marcello Cardona and Reggina’s entire board of directors. Felice Saladino, the club’s owner, had said in a note that he had “made himself available to initiate talks with those who express interest in the Company, with the aim of continuing the successful path we have started and to further grow our territories and our beloved Reggina.”
