Parma, Franco Vazquez blurts out, “No one has shown up…”
Franco Vazquez in an interview with Parma Today spoke about his farewell to Parma, not without denying some regret: “Ten days ago my agent called me saying that no one had shown up for the renewal, I would have gladly stayed.”
“What am I to think? He didn’t renew because no one came to talk to me about renewal or anything. You cannot talk about renewal if there is no negotiation. But this is also soccer. Too bad….”
No hard feelings in any case with President Krause: “He is a very serious and nice person. He has a great project for Parma and wants to do great things. I hope for him and for these people that, as soon as possible, he will reach Serie A. Buffon? It was great to be his partner and I hope he can continue in Parma because more than anyone he wants to give the city what it deserves from a sporting point of view.”
