Martina Trevisan’s Wimbledon experience ended immediately: the Italian tennis player was defeated in two sets by Spain’s Sara Sorribes Tormo in the first round of the ongoing Championships on London’s grass.

Wimbledon taboo for the athlete from Florence, who has yet to win a match in the main draw at the All England Club in her career. Sorribes Tormo won in two sets 6-3, 6-1 and in the thirtieth round will face world number one Iga Swiatek, who got rid of China’s Zhu in two sets (6-1, 6-3).
