Cagliari, new idea for attack: the management’s move
Cagliari management veers toward David Okereke
Cagliari has a new target for attack, Cremonese’s David Okereke. According to reports from ‘Cagliari News 24,’ the Nigerian striker has reportedly overtaken Manolo Gabbiadini as an attacking hypothesis and the management has already initiated contacts with the grigiorosso club.
Okereke, born in 1997, grew up in Liguria, playing in the youth teams of Lavagnese and Spezia, after transferring from Nigeria. He then also played in the first teams of the two clubs, as well as Cosenza, Club Bruges in Belgium, Venezia and, indeed, Cremonese.
Although he came back from two consecutive relegations (Venezia and Cremonese), he was noted for his qualities under goal, going on to score 16 goals between the league and Coppa Italia in the last two seasons.
