F1, Frederic Vasseur no-nonsense ahead of Silverstone
F1, Frederic Vasseur is blunt about Ferrari’s competitiveness
After the positive weekend in Austria, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur spoke to the microphones of the “Quotidiano Nazionale” about the competitiveness of the Prancing Horse and the feelings ahead of the Silverstone GP.
“Maybe we will have a chance to win when Verstappen and Perez throw each other off. All jokes aside, we are working toward that goal. We made a lot of progress in Austria by managing to be the second force behind Red Bull,” the former Alfa Romeo manager began.
“Honestly, with the very fast corners, I think the Silverstone track is not the most suitable for us. On the other hand, there will be occasions where we will be better. I think circuits like Budapest and Singapore will be more favorable for our car,” added Frederic Vasseur.
