Milan, talks open with Alvaro Morata: the Rossoneri’s offer
A negotiation ready to take off, with the approval of club and player.
Milan and Alvaro Morata are trying to find the square to unite their path. According to reports from ‘Sky Sport’ on Wednesday evening, in fact, the Rossoneri club has reached out to the striker offering him a four-year contract that would allow him to earn 4 million euros per season.
These are figures that Morata might be willing to accept, also because there are Saudi clubs on his trail but the Spanish center forward would still prefer to play in a European league. There is also the need to convince Atletico Madrid, the owner of his tag, but Milan could also pay the 10 million needed to pay his rescission clause.
Milan is desperate for a center forward: Divock Origi has disappointed expectations and Ante Rebic is on his way out. There is Lorenzo Colombo, returning from a successful loan at Lecce, but Pioli would like another experienced striker. Among the names screened Morata’s was and remains the most highly rated and now the inclusion of Al-Ettifaq seems to worry Moncada much less than in recent days.
