Virtus Bologna, new point guard identified
Virtus Bologna, evaluating Bruno Mascolo for point guard role
After the sale of Nico Mannion, Virtus Bologna is already looking for a new Italian point guard. The Bologna management is reportedly evaluating several profiles both young and experienced to satisfy Sergio Scariolo’s demands.
As can be read on “Pianeta Basket,” the main candidate would be Bruno Mascolo of Happy Casa Brindisi. The 1996-class basketball player, in fact, would be ready to sign a two-year contract with the Black Vs. The main alternative was Davide Moretti, who accepted the offer from Varese Basketball.
With the biancoazzurra jersey this season, Bruno Mascolo averaged 7.8 points and 3.4 assists in 24 minutes.
