Napoli, hot lead in Bundesliga for post Kim Min-jae
Napoli is serious about Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ko Itakura
Napoli, after finalizing the sale of Kim Min-jae to Bayern Munich for a sum of around 50 million euros, is already at work to find a replacement for the Korean center-back. Among the various profiles followed, in recent days, the main candidate would be another eastern player.
According to reports from “La Gazzetta dello Sport,” the Italian champion club has already put on the table a bid of 12 million euros for Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ko Itakura. However, the German club would like at least 15 million to let the Japanese player leave. The main alternatives to the 1997 class are Max Kilman (Wolves) and Robin Le Normand (Real Sociedad), whose price tag is significantly higher.
Napoli, for its part, has reportedly already reached an agreement with the player, as he has rejected the advances of several Arab clubs to stay in Europe and play in the Champions League. In the coming days, the partenopei should send a new proposal to the German club to find the final white smoke.
