Dinamo Sassari, Piero Bucchi happy with the confirmation of his wild card
Piero Bucchi happy with Raspino’s confirmation
Dinamo Sassari has renewed the agreement that binds it to Tommaso Raspino, a wing (also capable of playing guard) class of 1989 hired by the island club in September 2022. The news was announced by the biancazzurra club itself, through an official note.
“I am very happy,” Dinamo coach Piero Bucchi said on the matter, “for the confirmation of Tommy, who has always been ready and has shown himself to be a great professional and a player who has earned the trust on the court.
“He is an important addition, a wild card that we hold on to, and I am sure he will be even more motivated and decisive within the group,” Bucchi added. Raspino is therefore ready to bring his characteristics to bear, especially on defense, along with another specialist in the role like Filip Kruslin. His experience will also be significant in a locker room that has just lost Giacomo Devecchi, who has decided to retire from playing basketball.
Raspino, before Sassari’s, wore the undershirts of Biella, Pavia, Trieste, Omegna, Pesaro, Ferentino, Piacenza, Udine, Mantova, Urania Milano and Stella Azzurra. At the national representative level, he also boasts appearances with Italy Under 18 and Italy Under 20. “An exemplary professional,” Dinamo Sassari wrote in the statement regarding the renewal of the contract signed with the basketball player at the beginning of last season, “he has shown his value on the court, being instrumental in some of Sassari’s victories and always being ready when needed.
