AC Milan accelerates: another coup on the way in midfield after Pulisic
Pulisic-Day at Milanello: the U.S. trequartista, who arrived from London, will undergo medical examinations on the day and sign a contract with AC Milan. “Hello Milan fans, I am Christian Pulisic. I just landed in Milan and I am very happy to be here. I can’t wait to get started,” were his first words as a Rossoneri player in a video posted on social media.
Pulisic, formerly of Chelsea, will sign a €4 million net per season contract with the Diavolo until 2027. The Rossoneri will pay 20 million euros plus bonuses into the Blues’ coffers.
This is certainly not the end of the story for Milan, which is counting on strengthening in the midfield department in a major way. The Rossoneri market men are one step away from signing Reijnders, sponsored by Stefano Pioli. After an initial offer rejected by Az Alkmaar, Milan has come forward again for the oranje player with a €23 million proposal, including bonuses, that should get the final go-ahead from the Dutch club.
Milan wants to further strengthen on the flanks and in attack, and continues to negotiate for Villarreal winger Chukwueze, Dane Isaksen, and Porto forward Mehdi Taremi.
