Inter Milan, Chelsea’s opening comes for Romelu Lukaku
Chelsea takes a step toward Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku
Inter Milan has been working for some time now to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Milan from Chelsea on a permanent basis. In recent days, the Blues have reportedly already turned down offers for the Belgian footballer, as they considered the demand of 40 million plus bonuses too low. However, in the last few hours, the need of the English to complete the squad available to Mauricio Pochettino, would have convinced the club to take a step toward the Nerazzurri club.
According to reports from “La Gazzetta dello Sport,” white smoke could come in front of an offer of around 35 million euros plus bonuses. The hope of both sides would be to finalize the negotiation in the shortest possible time, as the Belgian center forward would be summoned for next week to begin preparation for the upcoming Premier League championship.
In addition to the Belgian center forward, Inter is called to revolutionize its goalkeeping package, complicit with the farewells of Handanovic and Cordaz and the now imminent transfer of André Onana to Manchester United. The main profiles followed by the Nerazzurri are Yann Sommer of Bayern Munich and Anatolij Trubin of Shakthar Donetsk. While the deal for the Swiss defender would be very affordable, thanks to the clause in his contract amounting to 6 million euros, more complicated is the operation for the Ukrainian, on which several Saudi Premier League clubs have reportedly come forward.
Chelsea, for its part, to replace Romelu Lukaku, has reportedly set its sights on Dusan Vlahovic, who could leave Juventus this soccer session.
