Inter, surprise strike: Cuadrado on the way.
Juan Cuadrado one step away from Inter Milan.
It has the resounding nature of the swoop placed by Inter in the last few hours. As reported by Sky Sport, the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement with Colombian outside back Juan Cuadrado, who was released at the end of June by Juventus after his contract expired.
Cuadrado will tie up with the Nerazzurri for one year, signing a one-year contract, expiring in June 30, 2024. The negotiations took place very quickly: the sudden call from the Milanese club convinced the 1988 class to choose Inter. There had been talk of his possible transfer to Turkey or Saudi Arabia, but instead the former Juve man will remain in Italy, wearing the colors of Inter. The official announcement is expected soon.
With Juventus, Cuadrado made 314 appearances in eight seasons, tallying 26 goals and 65 assists. In bianconero he can boast five Scudetti, four Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups.
In Inzaghi’s lineup, the Colombian outfielder will fill in for Bellanova, representing an excellent alternative to Denzel Dumfries.
From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
