Our Giulio Ciccone defended himself, who in the coming days will fight to keep the polka-dot jersey of best climber of the Tour on his shoulders. These are his words to Rai: “I had no references, the radio stopped working after one kilometer. The plan was to go full out, I went full out until the end and they told me the weather was good. Today was a good day.”

“Defending the polka-dot jersey? You have to attack, but you also have to understand what the others will do. You have to go after points, on Wednesday and Saturday you have to take points.”
