Euro 2024 qualifiers, Italy-Northern Macedonia to be played in Rome on Nov. 17
Italy-Northern Macedonia, the penultimate match for the Azzurri in their qualification path to the 2024 European Championships in Germany, will be played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Friday, Nov. 17.
In the capital, where it has played the most matches (63, with 38 wins, 18 draws and 7 losses), the national team will return to play two years after the challenge with Switzerland (1-1 result) valid for the World Cup qualifiers in Qatar.
The Azzurri will resume their journey in the European qualifiers on Saturday, Sept. 9, in Skopje with North Macedonia and then face Ukraine at the San Siro on Tuesday, Sept. 12, while on Oct. 14 and 17 they will face Malta in Bari and visit England at Wembley.
Third in Group C on three points in the company of North Macedonia, Italy is three points behind Ukraine and nine behind leading England, but having been engaged in the Nations League Finals has played one match less than Ukraine and two less than Southgate’s national team.1
