Juventus, open doors at Allianz Stadium on Aug. 9
Juventus celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Agnelli family’s era of ownership on July 24, and the Bianconeri club has announced that on August 9 the Allianz Stadium will be open to all to watch Massimiliano Allegri’s team train. Here is the text of the statement published on the Old Lady’s official website.
“Let’s start again together. Literally.
The 2023/24 season is the one that marks an important anniversary for our history: July 24 will in fact be the centenary day of the first Agnelli presidency, that of Edoardo, in office precisely since July 24, 1923. That day will be an occasion to be experienced together, through our digital channels… but we won’t reveal anything now: appointment next Monday on the bianconeri website and socials!
From digital… to physical: this start of the season will be studded with a series of activities, designed to experience the first bars of the new year side by side, under the banner of cheering, emotions and inclusiveness. That’s right, together.
First date to be circled in red on the calendar is August 9, 2023, the day when the doors of Allianz Stadium will open to everyone for free to attend a First Team training session. A special moment, in our home, to feel closer than ever and give us a boost for the start of the new season; in the coming days we will explain in detail how to accredit you.
This will not, as anticipated, be a one-time event. Fans, will have a series of events to breathe in this new beginning: open trainings, special days at the Juventus Museum and activities in the Juventus Stores, experiences at Allianz Stadium, Meet#38;Greet. In short, there will be plenty of opportunities.
This special period will culminate in a great spectacular event in the fall in Turin, the culmination of a journey made of sharing aimed at all fans who want to participate.
Let’s start again close together, because the best way to face the challenges ahead is only one: to be together. Stronger, together.”
Then Marco Ventre, the mayor of Villar Perosa, announced on his Facebook profile that the traditional friendly Juventus A-Juventus B in the center of Val Chisone will not take place this year: “With great regret and sorrow I was informed this morning by the club F.C. Juventus of the unilateral decision not to put on the program the usual vernissage in Villar Perosa. We would have liked to remember and celebrate 100 years of ownership by the Agnelli family with a great celebration of sports and the Juventus people. I hope that in the book of our history this will be the only blank page to be followed by pages of celebration, color and true Juventus tradition.”
