Official: Tijjani Reijnders is a new Milan player

After Sportiello, Romero, Loftus-Cheek and Pulisic, AC Milan has made official the purchase of Tijjani Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar. The Dutch midfielder arrives on a permanent basis for a fee of around 19 million euros plus 4 million in bonuses. In addition, the class of 1998 will tie himself to the Rossoneri until June 30, 2028.

“AC Milan is pleased to announce that it has acquired outright the sports performance of footballer Tijjani Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar. The Dutch midfielder has signed a contract with the Rossoneri club until June 30, 2028.

Born in Zwolle on July 29, 1998, Tijjani grew up in the Youth Sector of Twente, a team with which he played until 2015 before returning for one season to PEC Zwolle where he made his First Team debut on August 13, 2017 (Zwolle-Roda JC 4-2); the following season he moved to AZ Alkmaar where he played two championships with the Under-21 team before making his First Team debut. In the Eredivisie he counts 105 appearances with 9 goals and 11 assists. On May 29, 2023, he was called up for the senior national team for the first time at the Nations League Final Four.
