Fiorentina, farewell to Aleksa Terzic yields 8 million
The Serbian’s farewell is official.
Aleksa Terzic is no longer a Fiorentina player. Announcing his purchase was Red Bull Salzburg, with an official statement also issued on their social channels. The Serbian side, who had arrived at the purple club in 2019 while also spending a season on loan at Empoli, signed a four-year contract.
“We have signed Aleksa Terzic, 23,” the Salzburg note reads. The new left-back arrives from Fiorentina and has signed a contract until June 30, 2028. Terzic has collected 51 appearances (one goal, five assists) with the Italian Serie A club and finalist of the UEFA Conference League last season. In addition, our new acquisition is also a five-time Serbian A-Team player. Aleksa Terzic will wear the number 3 jersey for us.”
The deal will earn Fiorentina a sum of about 8 million euros, 5.5 of which will be paid immediately and the other 2.5 in the form of various bonuses. That’s not all: the lily club has in fact also wrested the right to obtain a percentage on any future resale. In his time as a purple player, he had worn the Empoli jersey on loan in the 2020-2021 season.
Not only goodbyes, however, in the purple house: on Saturday Fiorentina had in fact made official “on a temporary basis with the right of redemption, the rights to the sports performance of the player Arthur Henrique Ramos de Oliveira Melo from FC Juventus.”
