Lecce, a Turkish club is serious about Morten Hjulmand
Fenerbache is serious about Morten Hjulmand
A topic that has been on the table for quite some time at Lecce is the future of Morten Hjulmand, whose stay in Salento would be anything but a foregone conclusion. The Danish midfielder, thanks to his excellent performances in the last Serie A, would have attracted the interest of several Italian and other clubs.
According to reports in the Turkish daily “Fanatik,” Fenerbache has come forward on the 1999-class midfielder, who would have put on the table an offer of 10 million euros plus the card of Joao Pedro, who would have already opened to a return to Italy.
Lecce, for its part, would be interested in the Italian-Brazilian center forward, however, the main obstacle would be the high salary received by the former Cagliari player (3 million euros). The Giallorossi, in fact, complicit with the expiration of his contract in 2024, would be willing to let the Dane leave for a sum around 20 million euros.
From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
