Milan, Rebic says no to Saudi Arabia
AC Milan striker Ante Rebic has reportedly turned down a €10 million offer from Saudi Arabia. The Croatian forward, who does not fit into Stefano Pioli’s plans and was not called up for the US tour, has decided against a move to the Middle East and will look for alternatives in Europe.
On the player’s trail would be Besiktas, which unlike the Saudi clubs, however, cannot guarantee Rebic a salary higher or even equal to the one he currently receives at the Rossoneri (3.5 million euros).
The Turks demand the player on loan, while the Rossoneri want an obligation to buy him back under certain conditions. The situation could be resolved by the end of the summer sesssion.
Rebic has been at AC Milan since 2019: he has scored 29 goals in 123 total games between league and cups in the Rossoneri.
