Tijjani Reijnders’ happiness to be at Milan
“The thing I perceived immediately is how much Milan is a great club, world-class,” Tijjani Reijnders, the new Rossoneri midfielder, told Sky Sport from the U.S. tour -It is a very different reality than where I came from. The thing that impressed me the most were the fans, it’s nice to see so much passion towards both the team and the players.”
“When I was younger I watched Milan on TV and even then I understood that it was a great club, being here now,” Reijnders added, “makes me very proud. The greatest Dutchman in the history of Milan was definitely Marco Van Basten. One of the greatest in Holland.”
The Dutchman also spoke about his new coach, Stefano Pioli: “The relationship is very good. Before I came here I talked to him and we had a good feeling right away, both on and off the field. I really hope we can work together for many years.”
Finally, a dream: “To win the Champions League. And now to try to win the Scudetto. These are the dreams we all have since childhood. We will try to achieve them.”
