Rasmus Hojlund leaves Atalanta for Manchester United

Manchester United has reached an agreement with Atalanta for the transfer of Danish national team striker Rasmus Hojlund on the basis of 72 million pounds (nearly 84 million euros). The BBC reports.

The 20-year-old Copenhagen native will move to the Red Devils for a fee of 64 million pounds, plus 8 million in bonuses. His contract with United will be for five years, with an option for an additional season.

Hojlund had arrived at Atalanta in August last year and scored 10 goals in 34 appearances last season among all competitions; in Serie A he made 32 appearances and scored nine goals.

He previously grew up in the Danish capital team, then in January 2022 he moved to Sturm Graz in Austria, where he stayed until he was bought by Dea for €17 million.
