Alex Marquez lost count
Alex Marquez throws down the gauntlet
Last race dated June 26 at Assen and Silverstone in Alex Marquez’s sights with the Spaniard arriving fresh and prepared for the appointment.
As does Fabio Di Giannantonio the brother of Marc also rode (albeit with a Panigale) in Misano. A few kilometers to get the rust off and regain some feeling of speed.
“Five or six weeks of stop … I’ve lost count by now,” said the Team Gresini centaur. “Holidays are always important to recharge the batteries, and now there is a lot of desire to get back in the saddle and rejoin the team. Silverstone is a very demanding circuit and during this break I relaxed, but I also worked hard to be ready for a very important second part of the season. I like the English circuit, weather aside, and I can’t wait to start again.”
