Milena Bertolini: “We have aesthetic and tactical values.”

Women’s national soccer team head coach Milena Bertolini hopes her girls will bring out all they have against South Africa in an inside or outside match.

“Our soccer has both aesthetic and tactical values, but lately we have had difficulty filling the area,” she assures. “Compared to the last match we have to improve from the point of view of mental toughness. We are working on it and I am sure that what happened with Sweden will serve us as a lesson.”

“It will be a battle and I expect to see a determined team,” adds the coach. “We will face an opponent very strong in transitions and of great physical intensity. We will have to be careful and show great desire to achieve the result for which we have been working for so long. the aspect of tension will be the prevailing one, whoever can manage it better will bring home the match.”
