Pecco Bagnaia’s words in the press conference

Pecco Bagnaia spoke at a press conference in Silverstone, where the MotoGP starts again this weekend: “I’m happy to start here again, it’s a track that everyone likes. I love the track, it’s a historic track. At the beginning last year we had difficulties, then we were competitive in the race. The weather doesn’t look great, hopefully we won’t have mixed conditions.”

“Change of format in Free Practice? It will not change my work, my strategy in FP1 will be the same. Maybe the most relevant change is on tire pressure,” admitted the MotoGp championship leader.

The Ducati centaur, on the other hand, is puzzled by the new tire pressure regulation: “The pressure limit is high, if you go over it is easy to fall. On the other hand, if you go below this limit, you will be penalized. We will study a way with the team to handle this. It was decided for safety but it is not very safe in my opinion.”

“Morbidelli away from Yamaha? Franco is among the best on the grid. He had problems with his knee and then with the team, he was never competitive except this year in Argentina. But I think he deserves another chance: when we train together he is always competitive,” Pecco concluded on Morbidelli’s farewell to Yamaha.
