Lazio-Luis Alberto, serenity returns
Lazio and Luis Alberto make peace. The Spanish midfielder, after missing the friendly against Aston Villa in Birmingham, has joined teammates and coach Maurizio Sarri in Spain, where a friendly test against Girona is scheduled for Sunday.
The Iberian player trained regularly after meeting with the coach and his teammates, who were surprised by his decision to skip the last few sessions for the Capitolini.
Luis Alberto stopped in the past few days in controversy with the club because of a bonus award not yet paid by president Claudio Lotito, and had also been vocal on social media: “There is a limit beyond which patience ceases to be a virtue.” Now the situation seems to have been definitively recessed.
Meanwhile, Lazio has welcomed new player Daichi Kamada to the team, who will wear jersey number 6 and earn 3.3 million euros a year. “I am very happy to have signed with Lazio and I am very happy to celebrate my birthday here in Rome. I want to do well with this jersey right from the start. Thank you for all the love and birthday wishes. Forza Lazio.”
