Carlos Augusto to Inter Milan, this is it: Adriano Galliani in the nerazzurri headquarters
The negotiation now seems to have finally entered the mainstream.
Carlos Augusto and Inter Milan are getting closer and closer. In fact, the Brazilian side seems now really one step away from making the few kilometers that separate Monza from Milan and becoming a new Nerazzurri player. He will take the place of Robin Gosens, who in turn is very close to a change of shirt and a move to Union Berlin.
According to Saturday’s ‘Sky Sport’ reports, in fact, Adriano Galliani personally went to the Inter headquarters to finalize the final details of the Carlos Augusto deal. The deal is expected to close on the basis of a loan with a right of redemption set around the figure of 13 million euros. Also involved in the negotiation is Corinthians, which will get a percentage on any future resale of the player.
Carlos Augusto, who had also ended up in the sights of Juventus, Atalanta and Torino, will leave Monza after contributing to salvation in the brianzoli’s first season in Serie A with six goals and five assists. In recent days Adriano Galliani has taken precautions by signing Georgios Kyriakopoulos, another element good at moving on the left-hand band.
Inter, on the other hand, is continuing its buying campaign: the arrival of Carlos Augusto follows those of Juan Cuadrado and Marcus Thuram on a zero-parameter basis, Yann Sommer from Bayern Munich, Yann Aurel Bisseck from Aarhus, and Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo.
In the past few hours, however, the arrival of Lazar Samardzic had become complicated, despite the fact that he had already undergone medical examinations. At a lengthy summit in Viale della Liberazione, the father of the 21-year-old Serbian-German midfielder (now his procurer) had shown up in place of the now former agent Rafaela Pimenta, the person with whom the Inter executives had agreed to the last detail.
