Started in San Benedetto del Tronto the gathering of the Italian Men’s National Rugby Team in preparation for the match against Romania, the Azzurri’s third summer fixture and first of two home matches valid for the Vittoria Assicurazioni Summer Nations Series. The match, scheduled for Saturday, August 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Riviera delle Palme Stadium, will be broadcast live on Sky Sport and free-to-air on TV8.

Starting tomorrow, Monday, Aug. 14, the Azzurri will begin their march toward the first of two home matches with scheduled training sessions at the Nelson Mandela Rugby Field. In the late afternoon of August 14, starting at 7 p.m., Italrugby will have a first meeting moment with fans with the city of San Benedetto del Tronto ready to welcome the Azzurri at Piazza Giorgini as part of the SanBeach Street Food Festival.

On Tuesday, August 15, starting at 11 a.m., at the Nelson Mandela Rugby Field – home of UR San Benedetto – an open training session is scheduled with the classic selfie and autograph session with fans who will have the opportunity to meet the players at the end of the work session.

On Thursday, Aug. 17, the lineup that will face Romania will be announced, while on Friday, Aug. 18 at the end of the Captain’s Run is scheduled at the Riviera delle Palme Stadium the Italy captain’s press conference on the eve of the match.
