Fiorentina, Francesco Baiano promotes Lucas Beltran
Francesco Baiano promotes Lucas Beltran
Former striker of Fiorentina, Napoli and Parma, among others, Francesco Baiano spoke at the microphones of Radio Firenze Viola to comment on the Viola market. “I liked the Viola market,” he stressed, “It was good, then of course you have to see the matches. Because in the end the litmus test is the championship. I am confident, though.”
“The purchases in attack? They are two good players, Beltran has to be evaluated because he comes from a completely different league. While Nzola has already worked with Italiano, Beltran on the other hand has to learn the language first. But one who knows how to play soccer does not need time: one who knows how to play goes beyond time. If one has qualities, he shows them in Argentina as in Italy or Spain,” Baiano continued.
He then opened up about the liliati’s latest acquisition, “Beltran? I have seen footage. He is a player with important qualities, used to playing under pressure. I expect a lot, not right away, but for me Fiorentina has made a big splash. Can he play in tandem with Nzola? They have completely different characteristics. Nzola is the classic center forward, he holds his ground and brings the team up. Beltran, from what little I’ve seen, doesn’t strike me as a first forward. I think they can play together, but you would have to change the module.”
