Marco Bezzecchi’s words ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix

Marco Bezzecchi seeks immediate redemption in the Austrian Grand Prix after his crash at Silverstone. The rider from Rimini, currently third in the overall standings with 167 points, aims to keep pace with the strongest group.

Victorious three times in Austria – Moto3 (2018 ed.) and Moto2 (2020 and 2021 ed.) – Marco wants to put the premature ending of the Silverstone race behind him and return to the excellent riding sensations he had up to the Sprint, a session where he scored his eighth podium finish of the season.

“When a race ends the way mine ended at Silverstone, you can’t wait to get right back on the bike,” he told the Mooney VR46 Racing Team’s official channels. So I’m very happy to get back to work with the whole team, especially in Austria, a track I’m particularly fond of. I’ve won here in Moto3 and Moto2, I’ve always been extremely fast and competitive, very good basis to do well also riding a MotoGP bike. What can I say, I can’t wait to start working on Friday morning.”
